Hyelim Lena Kang

I double-majored in Graphic design and Animation. After graduate, I went on to design at ad agency and publishing company, where I worked for nearly four years in Oklahoma City and Los Angeles. And I have been a freelance graphic designer for 25 years.

I balanced my day graphic design job with personal creative work, like web site design, illustration, and editorial, which garnered attention. Eventually, I decided to design on freelance basis. This allowed me to work on other projects of development store design, fashion, establishment of magazines, and branding.

My creative approach is to find point of simplicity graphics and colors for visual attention with my idea. The new ideas comes not only background of design but also curiosity of diverse interests. Ultimately, learning is a way of my desires, and it's about creating images.
